Junior Analytics Engineer

Salary: $45,000 - 73,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 2 years of experience, which may include academic, project, internship, or professional data analysis work.
• We need working knowledge of SQL and Python and/or R.
• We expect experience preparing and analyzing datasets, along with building visualizations or dashboards.
• We look for a solid understanding of statistical and analytical methods.
• You must be able to interpret data and present analytical findings clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard Office tools is required.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills are essential.
• You must have an active DoD Secret clearance at hire, or be able to obtain and maintain it during employment.
• A bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related analytical field is required; entry-level candidates with relevant academic projects, internships, or early-career analytics experience are welcome.
• Travel is less than 10%.

• We collect, clean, transform, validate, and analyze structured data.
• We develop SQL queries and analytical datasets to support Rubix capabilities.
• We use Python, R, SQL, Excel, and related tools to perform analysis and build repeatable automation.
• We create visualizations, dashboards, reports, and other analytical deliverables.
• We identify patterns, trends, anomalies, relationships, and key performance indicators.
• We perform data quality checks and investigate inconsistencies.
• We support forecasting, segmentation, statistical analysis, and descriptive and predictive analytics.
• We translate analytical results into concise insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• We partner with SMEs and developers to turn analytical needs into Rubix functionality.
• We document data sources, transformations, methods, assumptions, and results.
