Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications ONC
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical in last 3 years.
• EMR Must have experience with EMRs.
• Skills Assessment MES skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee of the health system in the past year.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with colostomy care, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, and PICC line management is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in heparin and insulin administration, surgical drains, chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vac is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and oxygen administration is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Local contracts within 50.0 miles not accepted.
