Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Point Driver in Sulphur LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Access Control professional at a chemical and petrochemical location you will help manage entry points verify credentials monitor access activity and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence communicate professionally and respond to security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving position. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials processing visitor and contractor entry maintaining access records and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access control concerns incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs incident reports and visitor documentation and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
