Lowes Field Service TechnicianLowes Field Service Technician Role supporting 6+ Lowes locations performing hardware breakfix on point of sale, printers, thinclients, network support including CAT6 terminations. Temp to perm, 60 day contract, converting to full time at $22/hour after 60 days. Locations include Lowe's of St. Charles, MO, Lowe's of O'Fallon, MO, Lowe's Outlet of Bridgeton, Lowe's of Alton, IL, Lowe's of Glen Carbon, IL, Lowe's of Fairview Heights, IL, and Lowe's of Belleville, IL.Primary day-to-day responsibilities entail FST supporting hardware at Lowes. Required skills include customer service and networking (CAT6 termination). Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-5, with overtime available and no on-call. There will be on-call opportunities. Minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Specific certification needed is CompTIA A+. Contractor will drive 50+ miles per day. Candidate review and interviews start as soon as possible. Past issues include candidates in wrong locations resulting in technician burnout and lack of networking experience.
