What you’ll do This lab based role will lead internal and external technical requests and projects for the APP applications team, with emphasis on Paper Packaging segments Plans and executes laboratory projects to support customer/market projects in collaboration with technical service and sales teams. Prepares laboratory reports which present findings and conclusions and prepares direct customer correspondence. Effectively communicates technical information directly to internal and external stakeholders. Develops portfolio knowledge in order to make product recommendations and identify gaps. Develops and implements applications testing capabilities. Actively supports the quality complaint investigation process. May execute customer visits for complaint investigations, troubleshooting, data collection, product/technology demos, equipment management, and training seminars as needed. Leads by example in safety and maintains 100% compliance for all SHE initiatives. What makes you a good fit BS ChE, ME, MatE, Chemistry or similar degree/experience required. 1-5 years of technical industry experience. Experience in troubleshooting complex/difficult problems. Experience with adhesives or paper converting applications a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent people skills; able to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task with strong analytical and hands-on mechanical skills. Experience with analytical equipment preferred. This range represents the good-faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
