Data Warehouse Analyst

Our client, a government agency specializing in human services, is seeking a Data Warehouse Analyst to join their team. As a Data Warehouse Analyst, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting the Data Architecture and Quality team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Warehouse Analyst

Location: Madison, WI - Wisconsin residents only, or candidates willing to relocate to Wisconsin within 30 days of start date. Position is primarily remote, with potential onsite attendance as needed.

Duration: 12+ months with highly possible extension.

What's the Job?

• Assess data quality and metadata within DCF's data architecture.

• Perform data profiling, analysis, and documentation of data quality issues.

• Develop automated data validation rules to enhance data accuracy.

• Recommend data cleansing and remediation strategies.

• Collaborate with data architects and modelers on enterprise data management initiatives.

What's Needed?

• Experience in metadata discovery and documentation (5+ years).

• Proficiency in data profiling and data quality assessment (5+ years).

• Advanced skills in SQL and Python (3+ years).

• Experience with data profiling tools and database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 (5+ years).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (5+ years).
