Job Description

Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Location: 16618 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078

Job Overview: We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
• Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
• Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
• Must have independent shop experience and previous experience working on all makes and models in a shop atmosphere. European experience a PLUS
• 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• 7+ years Diagnostic experience required - must be familiar with diagnosing and repair various makes/models of vehicles
• ASE or Manufacture Specific Certifications Preferred but Not Required
• Desire to meet or exceed hourly goals (50+ hours weekly)
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
• Professional appearance and strong communication
• A desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
• Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
• Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
• Drive manual transmissions vehicles
• Efficiently navigate a computer
