Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician role based in Brunswick, OH. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in processing prescriptions, preparing and packaging medications, and ensuring accurate labeling and documentation for residents in long-term care settings. Daily responsibilities include receiving and entering medication orders, managing inventory and stock rotation, supporting medication delivery workflows, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. The role also involves communicating with facility staff and healthcare providers, responding to inquiries, and helping resolve medication-related issues in a timely and professional manner. The Pharmacy Technician will follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to support safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmaceutical care. Qualifications Demonstrated experience with prescription processing and medication preparation, including accurate data entry and labeling. Knowledge of pharmacy operations and workflows in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; understanding of the role and responsibilities of Pharmacy Technicians. Skills in inventory control, including stock management, ordering, and rotation to prevent shortages and waste. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with facility staff, residents’ caregivers, and healthcare providers. State-specific Pharmacy Technician certification or registration (or eligibility to obtain), and a high school diploma or equivalent. Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.
