Role Description The Sr. Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD. This role oversees construction projects from planning through closeout, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. Daily responsibilities include coordinating project teams and subcontractors, leading site meetings, monitoring progress against milestones, and resolving field issues to keep work on track. The Sr. Construction Project Manager prepares and reviews contracts, change orders, and reports, ensuring compliance with safety standards, building codes, and client requirements. The role also involves stakeholder communication, risk management, and mentoring junior project staff to support consistent project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong project leadership skills, including Project Management and Construction Project Management, with a proven ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects.

• Experience in field operations and Construction Management, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes.

• Proficiency in Project Coordination and team collaboration, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor oversight.

• Solid Budgeting and cost control skills, including estimating, financial tracking, and managing change orders to maintain project profitability.

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients, design teams, and trades, both in writing and verbally.
\n
• Experience using construction project management software and common office productivity tools.
\n
• Track record of leading projects in urban environments; prior work in the Washington, DC area is a plus.
