Your future role at a glance Location: Tulsa, OK Facility: Ascension St. John's Medical Center Department: Nursing Administration Schedule: PRN, Day Shift How you'll make an impact in this role Clinical Operational Leadership: Serves as the vital onsite leader during off-hours, orchestrating hospital-wide patient flow, resource allocation, and clinical staffing to guarantee safe, continuous, and high-quality patient care. Crisis & Emergency Management: Acts as the primary responder and incident commander for clinical emergencies, facility alerts, and critical situations, ensuring swift, decisive action that protects patient and staff safety. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Bridges communication gaps across all hospital departments—including the ED, ICU, inpatient units, and ancillary services—to break down silos and optimize throughput. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Advocacy: Safeguards clinical excellence by monitoring adherence to healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and safety protocols, actively mitigating risks in real-time. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted, required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, required. Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, required. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experiencerequired.
