In this role you will need to be highly organized, problem solvers, intermediate to advanced excel capabilities, and high initiative.The Project Lead will engage with both the program (PAL – Program Administrative Labor) and engineering functions (EAP – Engineering Assistance to Production) to manage cost and schedule while aligning the correct work scope to the correct contract. The Project Lead PAL will support labor and non-labor activities for PAL by monitoring compliance to requirements and enabling resources to execute tasks per the correct funding source. What you will be doingA new opportunity has arisen for a LiftSystem Project Lead. As the Project Lead you will have responsibility alongside the accountable Program Manager to ensure work packages are managed from inception through completion. This role is accountable to support proposals, negotiations and execution of FAR 15 contracts in support of these activities. In this role you will primarily be accountable for supporting the execution of our contracts including cost, schedule reporting internally and externally.Contribute to proposals and negotiations for new contracts.Monitor Earned Value reporting to ensure successful program execution and compliance to the Rolls-Royce Management Control System.Monitor scope against contracted content and coordinate contractual modifications as needed.Coordinate reviews such as Monthly Program Reviews, PILM business gates, and customer reviews.Ensure robust forecast and budget managementBasic Requirements:An Associate’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, ORA Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, OR;A Masters degree or JD/PhD OR;In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in project or program management or fiscal oversightAbility to travel up to 15%In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen or Permanent ResidentPreferred Requirements:PMP or equivalent project management accreditationExperience with earned value, schedule management and/or cost forecasting and governanceOur vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
