Acquisition Analyst (Advanced)

THE POSITION

PACE LLC is currently seeking an Acquisition Analyst (Advanced) for a full-time position. The Acquisition Analyst (Advanced) will provide a full range of procurement and contracting services in support of the customer's acquisition activities. This position supports the PACE LLC government contracting client, which is a United States federal agency.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Experience directly supporting major defense acquisition program(s) or comparable commercial operations as an acquisition subject matter expert/program analyst Experience providing strategic advice to program executive officers and senior acquisition officials on acquisition pathway selection, tailoring strategies, and risk mitigation Experience navigating complexities of the Defense Acquisition System and providing authoritative advice to senior leadership Experience working with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and emerging acquisition reform initiatives 5 years' experience in Major Systems Program Management for DoD, or 5 years' commercial experience in a program integration environment providing strategic level analysis Familiar with DoD5000 series acquisitions Direct experience working within a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) or Major Automated Information System (MAIS) Agile acquisition strategy development experience Commercial Solutions Opening experience a big plus Experience and knowledge of other transaction authority Experience preparing detailed acquisition strategies for major defense programs Experience reviewing, processing, and formulating general strategy products

CERTIFICATIONS

DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management Contracting or equivalent preferred.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree with 15 years major program experience.

LOCATION

Huntsville, AL on-site

CITIZENSHIP & CLEARANCE

This position would require US Citizenship and a TS clearance or ability to hold a TS clearance.
