Experience Requirements

Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of recent acute-care experience in providing radiologic services to:

Emergency Department patients
Inpatient individuals
Outpatient clients
Operating Room patients

Credential Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

An active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
Current ARRT certification
Current BLS certification (preferred)
A QuantiFERON-TB Gold or T-SPOT test completed within the last year
Documentation of MMR and Varicella immunity via positive titers or vaccination records
A physical examination conducted within the past year

Job Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will:

Conduct diagnostic radiographic procedures as per physician orders and facility protocols
Generate precise, high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity during each procedure
Effectively operate and maintain radiologic equipment
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
Accurately document procedures and patient information
Deliver professional and compassionate care in a dynamic acute-care setting
