RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements on any scheduled day, averaging 5 or less per 8 weeks
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Float requirements as needed by facility
• 2 years Level 1 or 2 Trauma Experience required (teaching hospital experience considered)
• Must have scrub and OR circulator experience
• Interventional vascular experience (minimum 1 year) and competency in conscious sedation required
• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Must wear black scrubs with professional attire standards
• Work with DaVinci robot and various OR equipment
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Assist vascular surgeon in OR and hybrid imaging suite
• Work with team of nurses and surgical techs for endovascular and open cases
• Care for patients ranging from outpatient to critical care inpatient
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
