Responsibilities Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, rest time, and outdoor play to ensure their safety and well-being. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early learning and developmental milestones. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Foster positive social, emotional, and behavioral development through guidance and encouragement. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns. Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements. Comply with mandated reporting requirements and promptly report concerns regarding child safety or welfare. Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other daily care routines as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to provide high-quality care and education. Qualifications No Experience Required - We Will Train Preferred qualifications include: Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nursery, babysitting, nanny, or similar caregiving setting. Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles. Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is a plus. Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with children, parents, and coworkers. CPR, First Aid, Pediatric CPR, and Pediatric First Aid certifications are preferred but not required. Training opportunities may be available.
