This full-time position runs through June 10, 2027, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours each week. Day-to-day duties are varied, contributing to the growth and independence of students at multiple developmental stages, from early childhood through high school.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated paraprofessional experience working with grades pre-K through 12, especially within school environments
• Skilled in supporting students with mild to moderate behavior needs
• Comfortable with basic caregiving tasks, including assisting very young children with toileting as needed
• Adaptable to different school settings, with experience in both public and private educational environments considered a plus
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with teachers and school staff
• Able to follow classroom plans and contribute positively to student engagement

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, providing direct support to individual students or small groups
• Practice patience and understanding while encouraging appropriate classroom behavior
• Support students’ social, emotional, and educational development
• Help children with daily routines, including toileting and basic self-care when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all school-related matters
• Adapt to changing needs across grade levels and environments
