Java DeveloperApex is teaming up with an American multinational retail corporation to find a Java Developer. In the Retail Services group you will work as part of a small team to design, build, and field some of the world's highest-volume retail systems.Please note this is a remote position but may require a hybrid environment in the future. We have a startup culture and are looking to grow our team with software engineers who take pride in their craft and are ready to grow in a fast-paced team oriented environment.As a Java Developer, you will:Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of distributed systems in an agile environmentComplete research activities for new features and enhancementsContribute to design and code reviewsHelp to monitor and improve production systemsEngage in our engineering culture to consistently deliver value to our customers and businessMust-have technologies/required experience for the position:Java 8 or aboveSpring or Spring BootRest APIs – need to have experience writing Rest APIsKafka or another messaging toolCI/CDExperience deploying to a cloud environment (any cloud is fine)Basic understanding of SQL databases
