Our organization is on the lookout for a General Cardiologist to become part of our expanding community-based practice located in Ottumwa, IA. • No weekend on-call duties!
• Weeknight on-call schedule (Monday to Thursday) at a ratio of 1:5
• Admissions managed by a 24/7 Hospitalist Service
• Conveniently situated next to Ottumwa Regional Medical Center
• Weekly on-site subspecialty support
• On-site capabilities for Nuclear Stress, Echo, and Vascular studies
• Procedures including TEE, Loop recorder, Pacemakers, Peripheral Angiograms, Cardioversions, and IVC Implants

• Base salary starting at $600,000, with additional production incentives
• Recruitment bonus of $150,000
• Relocation assistance up to $15,000
• Malpractice insurance coverage with tail coverage included

Our cardiology center , established in 1970, ranks among the largest cardiovascular practices in the United States. Recognized as one of the top 50 cardiovascular hospitals by Fortune/IBM Health, our center comprises 44 physicians and provides a wide range of services, including General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. We also have an accredited Cardiology Fellowship program with 8 fellows, operate 8 primary office locations, and serve over 15 outreach facilities throughout Iowa. Our active clinic research department participates in major STS registries and conducts more than 10,000 cardiac interventions annually.

Ottumwa , Iowa, is located just 85 miles southeast of Des Moines, the state capital, and has a population exceeding 25,000.
