Proficiency with computers and strong written and oral communication skills are also required. Responsibilities Sells international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, itineraries, air, car, and hotel. Shares knowledge and expertise from personal experiences or educational study trips. Develops long‑standing relationships with members, building referral and repeat business. Makes appropriate recommendations to ensure each trip exceeds member expectations and is tailored to their preferences. Cross‑sells relevant products, such as the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card, and identifies theft referral opportunities. Participates in ongoing evaluations of sales, customer service, administrative, operations, up‑selling, cross‑selling, and goal attainment to support career progression into leadership roles. Qualifications High school diploma required; a 2‑ or 4‑year college degree preferred. At least 2 years of successful retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency experience within a goal‑oriented environment. Willingness and availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings. Requires a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening. Computer savvy: proficient in multiple systems, web browsers, Microsoft Office, and able to type at least 30 words per minute. Earnings Potential: Starting at $23.50 per hour with structured training; progress to a base pay that ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 annually, with top performers exceeding $85,000 in an uncapped commission structure.
