The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application testing, test automation, API testing, performance testing, and SQL. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise web applications.
This role requires hands-on experience with Java, TestNG, Playwright, SQL, API Testing, GitHub Copilot, and performance testing tools in an Agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for complex web applications.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, TestNG, and Playwright .
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and workflow-driven automation testing.
- Develop and execute API test cases using JSON and REST services.
- Validate data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter, WAPT Pro, or similar tools .
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and improve software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Utilize GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and automation productivity.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain test documentation, automation reports, and quality metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience testing complex web applications.
- 6+ years of automation testing experience using Java and TestNG .
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and database validation.
- 4+ years of experience with Playwright .
- 4+ years of experience with workflow-driven automation.
- 4+ years of experience using JMeter, WAPT Pro, or other performance/load testing tools .
- 3+ years of experience with GitHub Copilot .
- 3+ years of experience with JSON and API Testing .
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Zephyr Scale .
- Experience with Jira .
- Experience working with TSDS applications .
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
