Sacramento, CASCHEDULE Monday- Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexible based on weather)About the Position…This position's primary responsibility is oversight for the day-to-day operations of all Jackson property facilities including all facility related repairs, special projects, subcontractor management, and maintenance requirements. This position also manages our transportation/fleet vehicles.You'll be responsible for…Plan and conduct all repair and installation activities for multiple commercial and residential buildings, including a commercial kitchen, two campus residences, and a children's program, etc.Ensure that designated buildings and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when requiredMonitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionalityOversee, maintain, and inspect all buildings on propertyCollect quotes, make recommendations, hire and oversee outside services if necessaryMaintain maintenance logs and report on daily activitiesCoordinate ongoing maintenance and inspections to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policiesSupervise upkeep staff (custodians, gardeners, pest, etc.), vendors, and subcontractorsMonitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessaryEnsure health and safety policies are complied withWork professionally and collaboratively with Saint John's staff and residentsTransportation/Fleet ManagementMaintain accurate records of our fleet of vehiclesCoordinate maintenance and repair of all fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in working orderWork with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the fleet is properly insured and registeredFacilities ManagementDirect facility operations in a manner which protects, maintains and improves the value of Saint John's assets and ensures a safe, comfortable and productive environment for our clients and our staffTrack facilities expenditures (supplies, maintenance, repairs) and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered within the areas of responsibility during the yearOversee ordering of all supplies and ensures supplies on hand meet expected facility needsEnsure client facilities, equipment, offices/rooms, and systems are maintained, cleaned, repaired, and serviced in accordance with Saint John's standards and requirementsIn consultation with the Chief Operating Officer, make recommendations regarding the maintenance and upgrade of utilities, security systems and signage for all Saint John's facilitiesCommunity RepresentationWhen appropriate, represent Saint John's in meetings with program partnersContribute when appropriate to the building and managing of relationships with partners and outside agenciesOther duties as assignedRegular, predictable attendance is requiredAbility to get along and work effectively with othersYou must have...Fluent in English language (spoken and written)An incredible passion for our missionAbility to multi-task, prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.Ability to maintain a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and flexibility.Skills in operations, systems, data management.A current CA driver's license, Class B license holder and proof of auto insurance are required.TB Clearance and fingerprinting required as well.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
