One of our clients is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide support and care to developmentally disabled adults in Chelmsford. Immediate start. Hourly Rate Up to $55/hr. Responsibilities Work directly with developmentally disabled adult residents to ensure their needs are met. Utilize nursing principles and patient assessments to develop, determine, and implement individualized plans of care. Administer necessary medications and carry out treatments and procedures outlined in patient care plans. Accurately document all care provided and note all observations. Work with the medical team, patient, family, and visitors to ensure a pleasant and positive atmosphere. Participate in rounds, ensure others are caring for the patient, understand treatments provided, and ascertain future needs. Perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, managing continence, and transferring. Required Experience and Education Active Massachusetts LPN license and CPR certification.
