Progressive Care PCU Registered Nurse (RN) Setting: Healthcare Facilities Job Type: Travel Pay: $2834 / Week Hours: 36.00 Location: Winchester, MA The Progressive Care Unit RN, assumes the responsibility andaccountability for delivering patient care to telemetry/progressive carepatients. The Progressive Care Unit RN demonstrates the ability to makeclinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. Thisindividual employs critical thinking and performance ability in thecoordination of patient care, consistently performs according to nursingstandards, and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others inthe management of patient care. TheProgressive Care Unit RN is sometimes also called a step-down nurse, cardiacstepdown, neuro stepdown, surgical stepdown and in some medical centers, thePCU is also known as a transition or intermediate unit.
