Phoenix, AZ | Acute Care / Children's Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to the patient's age and condition in a NICU setting, in alignment with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health and support individualized nursing and medical plans of care
• Adhere to hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards in all aspects of patient care delivery
• Float between multiple campus locations as assigned
• Float to PICU and CVICU as required by unit needs
• Follow all applicable vaccination and masking protocols, including flu vaccination requirements from October through April

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a NICU setting, with experience in PICU and CVICU
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current State of Arizona RN license, or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, or the ability to establish licensure in accordance with Arizona law prior to start date
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced NRP certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a children's hospital setting preferred
