Laser Engraving Specialist (Night Shift) - Picnic Time

As a Laser Engraving Specialist, your primary duties will be to prepare digital art files, and media, and apply corporate logos and licensed art to a variety of products. You will use a laser engraving machines on wood, marble, slate, and metal products.

In addition to laser engraving, you will also be required to perform other duties of a warehouse associate.

Warehouse Associates are required to lift up to 50 pounds, walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear. They may also operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and a variety of production machines.

Warehouse associates perform an array of functions. As part of the general warehouse team, they may also be called on to assist with accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, unloading shipping containers, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Warehouse associates may be trained in duties for various departments such as decorating, packing, and material handling, and should expect to be assigned wherever they are needed.

Future possibilities :

Warehouse Associates can aspire to related supervisory positions in the warehouse or shipping departing or in materials management or logistics. They might also move into other fields that require their organizational skills, inventory control experience, or product knowledge.

Warehouse Associates interact with many departments in the course of doing their jobs, which consists of much more than moving material around the plant. They play an important part in controlling costs by ensuring that materials are safely stored, counted, and delivered to the proper department when they are needed.

Required skills and training

Education :
High school – Read, Write, and Speak English

Experience :
None required –Candidates must be 18 years or older before their start date.

Training:

Picnic Time will provide approximately 4 weeks of paid training from 7:30 AM – 4 PM Monday- Friday until Thanksgiving.

Hours:

After training, the hours for this position will be 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM, Monday – Friday

Additional hours and days of operation may be required.

Compensation:

Laser Engraving Specialists will earn between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour.
