Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while creating a welcoming experience for shoppers, guests, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.69 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon12:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun12:00 PM - 09:00 PM Responsibilities Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting store personnel, visitors, and/or guests. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Support loss prevention awareness efforts by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
