We are looking for an Appointment Scheduler to support a busy legal environment in Columbia, Maryland. This Contract position focuses on coordinating calendars for attorneys, maintaining smooth communication with internal staff, and providing dependable administrative support as needed. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, professionalism on the phone, and the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage appointment scheduling for attorneys, ensuring calendars remain accurate and well organized.
• Serve as a key point of contact by handling calls professionally and relaying information clearly to attorneys and staff.
• Confirm, update, and track scheduled meetings and appointments to help prevent conflicts or missed commitments.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support, including routine clerical tasks that assist the broader team.
• Maintain orderly records and scheduling details with a high degree of accuracy and attention to timing.
• Respond promptly to changing priorities and adjust schedules as needed to support attorney availability.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the office to ensure smooth communication and efficient coordination of appointments.• Previous experience in scheduling, administrative support, or a related office-based role.
• Strong ability to manage appointments and maintain organized calendars with accuracy.
• Strong phone presence with solid phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Effective typing skills and comfort handling routine administrative documentation.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys and office staff.
• Adaptability and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
