Step into an established urban health center to manage a balanced mix of outpatient clinic visits and acute hospital consultations.

• Clinical Scope: Provide general neurology care across both ambulatory and inpatient settings. Core daily responsibilities include:

  • Conducting outpatient clinic sessions for a mix of new and returning neurology patients.

  • Managing acute inpatient neurology consultation requests from the floor and Emergency Department.

  • Serving as a potential responding physician for code stroke alerts during daytime hours.

• The Schedule: Structured, full-time daytime coverage from Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17, 2026 . Hours are strictly 9:00 AM 5:00 PM daily with absolutely no night call and no weekend coverage .

• Clinical Volume & Appointment Structure:

  • Ambulatory Clinic: 2 clinic sessions per day. Appointments are structured comfortably to ensure thorough evaluations (30 to 60 minutes for New Patients; 30 minutes for Follow-Up visits), averaging 10 to 14 patients per day.

  • Inpatient Workload: Average of 5 to 6 inpatient consults and fewer than 2 daytime code stroke responses per day.

• Autonomy & Support: Practice independently within the practice setting, backed by a fully staffed, experienced clinic nursing and administrative team. The locum provider carries no supervisory or administrative responsibility over Advanced Practice Providers.

• Centralized Technology: Utilize a single-platform Epic EMR system implemented identically across both the outpatient practice and the main hospital wards for seamless charting and order entry.
