About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day/Evening Rotating Hours per Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Experience in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics (Da-Vinci). Experience in oncology is also preferred. Circulate and scrub experience is preferred. EPIC experience required. Description: Provide high-quality nursing care in a rotating day/evening schedule. Assist with circulating and scrubbing as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Call may be required as needed. Weekend coverage may be necessary. The schedule will be a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts to equate to 40 hours per week. Staff typically sign up for 2-3 calls during a 4-week schedule period. Candidates must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign the contract. References from two professionals are required. At least one reference must be from a managerial or supervisory role. Current employees are not eligible for hire in contract roles. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
