Veterinary Assistant

Job Summary Beechmont Pet Hospital is currently seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing individual to join our growing staff as a full‑time veterinary assistant! Part‑time availability may also be considered for the right candidate. Potential applicants should have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi‑task. A customer service background or veterinary hospital experience is preferred, but we also provide on‑the‑job training. Responsibilities Assist with patient care and treatment, monitoring hospitalized pets. Maintain inventory and stocking. Restrain animals during blood draws and nail trims. Aid with routine diagnostic tests. Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments. Clean/disinfect hospital. Administer medication under supervision. Feed and bathe animals. Answer phones and perform general customer service duties. Qualifications Positive attitude and strong communication skills. Ability to multitask. Customer service background or veterinary hospital experience preferred; on‑the‑job training provided. Benefits Base hourly rate of $13.00 – $15.00.
