responsibilities:
- Proactively expedite assigned equipment, materials, and logistics to ensure on-time site delivery aligned with construction schedules, regularly reviewing vendor fabrication schedules to mitigate delays.
- Oversee the review and flow of critical vendor engineering documentation including drawings, RFIs, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and WPS to ensure prompt approvals and completeness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships by scheduling, chairing, and minuting vendor supply meetings, while providing stakeholders with clear status updates and early risk notifications.
- Partner with vendors and project teams to resolve freight claims, shipment discrepancies, and tagging errors, while assisting with invoice verification and technical escalations.
- Coach and mentor new team members and vendors on expediting best practices, maintaining organized electronic records for timely purchase order and contract closeouts.
