Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (2D/3D) and stress echo (treadmill or pharmacologic)
- Conduct contrast/bubble studies, color Doppler, M-mode, LV volume/strain assessments; use specialized measures such as PISA and RVOT/RVIT
- Operate portable echocardiography in ICU/ED settings; follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
- Document findings clearly in the Epic charting system; collaborate with interpreting physicians and the care team
- Maintain equipment readiness, quality control, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience; 1st-timers OK
- Certifications: ARDMS and/or ARRT (S), CCI, RDCS/RVT; Oregon license as applicable
- Proficiency starting own IVs for contrast studies
- Epic charting experience
- Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for assignment
- Pre-start modules average ~16 hours; >20 hours requires approval
- References: 2 professional references covering 1 year of work within the last 3 years
- Travel: Not required to have prior travel experience; travel not mandatory
- Holidays: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
