TRANSPORTATION - Van or Bus

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our transportation team in the Jefferson West District on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and/or individuals within the designated area. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing excellent service to our community.

Responsibilities
- Operate transportation vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Transport goods or individuals to various locations as scheduled.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Assist in loading and unloading vehicles as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding transportation schedules and any changes.
- Address any issues or concerns that may arise during transportation in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in transportation or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules.
- Must be able to lift and carry items as needed.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends if required.

CPR and First Aid Certification, Defensive Driving, DOT Physical, and TB Test may also be required.
