About the job Duties/Responsibilities Washes and sanitizes dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand. Ensures all items are cleaned thoroughly and returned to their proper storage areas. Keeps dishwashing area, sinks, and floors clean and organized at all times. Takes out trash and recycling, and assists with cleaning kitchen and storage areas. Follows all food safety and sanitation procedures. Assists kitchen staff with basic prep work or restocking supplies when needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good teamwork and communication skills. Understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing and walking in a hot, humid kitchen environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
