Position Security Officer Screening Operations in Edgerton, KS Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon – 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Thur – 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Fri – 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Sat – 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Sun – 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Screen individuals entering the location by verifying credentials, monitoring access points, and reporting unusual activity in accordance with post orders and client guidelines. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues to the appropriate contacts when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help deter unauthorized access and support site protocols. Document screening activity, incidents, and visitor interactions in required logs and reporting systems while communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
