Location: Oklahoma City, OK Hours: 4pm-2:30am (4-10 hour shifts) rotating weekends and holidays Job Description Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) Location: Oklahoma City, OK Hours: 4pm-2:30am (4-10 hour shifts) rotating weekends and holidays Essential Functions Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment Responsibilities Perform tests in microbiology and assist with specimen processing as needed. Follow employer policies, work with fellow employees in a professional, productive manner, and perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting . Qualifications Required Knowledge: General laboratory knowledge, including the ability to use computers. Must have knowledge of QA and QC. Previous experience in Microbiology or Molecular Biology preferred. Education Requirements: BS in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science/medical laboratory technology; Previously qualified as a technologist under 42 CFR 493.1489 Credentials: ASCP or equivalent exam eligible within 1-3 years, MLT/MLS certification preferred Special Requirements Ability to maintain a professional courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress. Teamwork with fellow employees is a must. Keyboard skills are important. Good customer service skills, professional appearance and attitude. Must work overtime or other shifts if required.
