THE WORK Innovating RF signal processing applications Facilitating the integration of new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors Implementing comprehensive Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions Establishing a process to formally and proactively control and manage changes to requirements, consider impacts prior to commitment to change, gain stakeholder buy‑in, eliminate ambiguity, ensure traceability to source requirements, and track and settle open actions Developing scenarios (threads) and an Operational Concept describing the interactions between the system, the user, and the environment, that satisfy operational, support, maintenance, and disposal needs Implementing operational, technical standards, and system and services views for architectures using applicable Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards Conducting quantitative analysis in non‑functional system performance areas like Reliability, Maintainability, Vulnerability, Survivability, Producibility, etc. Assessing each risk to the program and determine the probability of occurrence and quantified consequence of failure in accordance with an approved risk management plan Planning the verification efforts of new and unproven designs early in the development life cycle to ensure compliance with established requirements Capturing all interface designs in a common interface control format, and store interface data in a commonly accessible repository Providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems Establishing and following a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces Preparing timeline analysis diagrams illustrating the flow of time‑dependent functions Reviewing and/or approving system engineering documentation to ensure that processes and specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, and complete Supporting the planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process (as well as other Government Cert) WHO WE ARE The program is on fire for cyber. In support of our customer, members of the team are responsible for providing full lifecycle support including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training and sustainment for collection and antenna systems. Basic Qualifications Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools Agile framework experience (Scrum, etc.) 14 years of experience as a systems engineer in medium‑scale (20‑100 people) or larger programs or contracts Desired Skills Proficiency with Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or similar SysML tools INCOSE ASEP or similar systems engineering certification Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $145,200 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
