Student Brand Ambassador - Chicago

Empo is a Chicago-based city discovery app built to help people find what’s happening around them, keep track of places they want to go, and make plans with friends. We’re looking for a small group of outgoing, creative, and well-connected college students to join Empo as Student Brand Ambassadors this fall. Your goal is simple: get more people in Chicago using Empo. You’ll have the freedom to figure out what works. That could mean introducing Empo to student organizations, talking to people on campus, activating at events, working your own network, partnering with local businesses, or coming up with an idea we haven’t thought of yet. What You’ll Do Introduce Empo to students and young people throughout Chicago Drive verified first-time Empo installs using your unique referral link and QR code Develop and execute your own weekly plan for generating new users Attend a 30-minute ambassador meeting every Monday to share ideas, results, and what’s working Submit a short plan of attack for the upcoming week by EOD Monday Test creative ways to get Empo in front of new people and help us learn what drives growth on Chicago campuses Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at a college or university in the Chicago area Live in or regularly spend time in Chicago Active and well-connected within your college community Comfortable meeting new people and introducing them to something new Involved in campus organizations, athletics, Greek life, social groups, events, nightlife, or other student communities is a plus Active on social media and familiar with how students discover new places, events, and things to do Self-motivated and comfortable working toward weekly performance goals Available to commit up to 5 hours per week Available every Monday for a recurring 30-minute ambassador meeting Able to commit to the program through November 25, 2026 $100 weekly base pay Earn $1 for every verified first-time Empo install you generate Earn an additional $100 bonus for every 100 verified first-time installs you generate each week Bonuses are unlimited and repeat every 100 installs 100 installs = $300 total weekly compensation 200 installs = $500 total weekly compensation 300 installs = $700 total weekly compensation Build hands-on experience in marketing, growth, customer acquisition, and launching a consumer technology product Work directly with the Empo team and help shape how we grow across Chicago Top-performing ambassadors may be invited back for the Spring 2027 semester Performance Expectations Ambassadors are expected to generate a minimum of 70 verified first-time installs per week to remain in the program, with a target of 100+ per week . Each ambassador will receive a unique referral link and QR code. Only genuine first-time Empo users count toward weekly totals. Reinstalls, existing users, duplicate accounts, fraudulent installs, or installs previously attributed to another ambassador will not be credited. Program Timing This is a temporary fall program running through Wednesday, November 25, 2026 . We’re intentionally keeping our first ambassador group small.
