- # VIP Hospitality BaristaApply: Oakland, CA: Part time: Posted Today: End Date: December 31, 2026 (30+ days left to apply): R100125377**Job Summary**The Barista is responsible for proudly pouring Peet’s in a backstage VIP Exclusive Access area with discretion and professionalism being our number one goal, combined with world-class service in making our Peet’s coffee drinks. **Hourly Range from $30.00 and up.****Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Maintain clean and sanitized workstation while following health and safety regulations. Restock work and dining areas by taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, tables or over the counter.* Engage with and greet all tour staff personnel in a friendly and inviting manner. Inform them about special items and answer any questions.* Prepare and serve specialty coffee and tea. Stock food and beverages.* Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**Possession of safe food/beverage certification prior to employment or ability to obtain certification upon hire.**Education and/or Experience*** A minimum education level of High School Diploma or equivalent.* A minimum of 1 to 2 years of related work experience.**Skills and Abilities*** Strong interpersonal and organization skills.* Must be proactive in providing exceptional customer service.* Must be able to work in a team environment and interact with multiple departments with tact and professionalism.* Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.**Physical Demands**The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
