Registered Nurse (RN) Pre Op, Post Op, Same Day Surgery

Job Summary: This RN role involves managing patient care before and after surgical procedures on the same day. Responsibilities include preoperative assessments, monitoring patients' post-anesthesia recovery, and educating patients for at-home care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct preoperative evaluations, ensuring patients are prepared for same-day surgery.
Monitor patient vitals and condition immediately after procedures.
Administer post-operative pain management and wound care as needed.
Educate patients on self-care, activity restrictions, and follow-up appointments.
Coordinate discharges, ensuring patients meet all safety criteria.

Work Environment:

Ambulatory surgery centers or specialized hospital units.
Requires efficient patient flow management and thorough patient education.
