Direct Support Professional

At Covenant Case Management Services (CCMS), we believe in helping others Thrive with Purpose . We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Living Support and Respite care for an individual with intellectual disabilities in the  Monroe , NC area. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering independence, promoting community inclusion, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive environment both in the home and in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 support, companionship, and daily living assistance.

• Assist with personal care, daily life skills, meal preparation, and medication administration as needed.

• Facilitate community integration and personal goals while maintaining a safe environment.

• Maintain a warm, encouraging, and supportive atmosphere.

• Keep accurate, timely service documentation in accordance with agency policies.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Required: Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance.

• Required: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities is preferred.

• Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.

• A genuinely compassionate, patient, and heart-centered approach to care.

Position Details & Benefits

• Location:  Monroe, NC 28110

• Pay Rate: $16.75/ hour for CLS and $15.00 for Respite 

• Schedule:  15 hours a week (Flexible) | Respite as needed on evenings/weekends
