  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, crafting individualized treatment plans that address these needs with precision.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families, employing an array of methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness approaches.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and case managers to create seamless care pathways that address both immediate and long-term mental health goals for clients.

  • Engage in crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and developing safety plans to ensure client stability.

  • Participate in community outreach programs and educational seminars aimed at raising awareness about mental health challenges and combating stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly influence a diverse clientele encompassing various socioeconomic backgrounds, cultures, and ages. You will serve clients ranging from children to the elderly, each presenting unique mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more complex issues requiring tailored intervention strategies.

Qualifications\n

  • An independent and active clinical license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
  • \n
  • A master's or doctoral degree in relevant fields including Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • \n
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to establish meaningful relationships with a diverse range of clients.

  • A demonstrated commitment to cultural competence, enabling effective work with individuals from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to documenting client interactions and treatment progress.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Previous experience in community mental health settings or telehealth practices is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record in facilitating group therapy and psychoeducational workshops.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Family Guidance Therapeutic Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
