Reimbursement Specialist

Summary of Job The Reimbursement Specialist will be an integral role of the Patient Support Program. The Reimbursement Specialist will work closely with Case Managers to facilitate the patient onboarding process. Essential Functions Works closely with Case Managers to assist with the patient onboarding process. Successfully deliver upon program goals, including predefined KPIs Complete the data entry process of all documents received into the Support Program Triage documents to appropriate parties based on defined business rules and requirements Support the Case Manager team with daily administrative tasks Follows all requirements associated with compliance to program guidelines and relevant regulations, including HIPAA and patient privacy Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings Assist with special projects as needed Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Experience Proven success in a fast-paced environment Patient-focused Technical Skills Proficient in MS Office Suite Benefits investigations and payer relations Superior data entry skills; ensuring quality and accuracy Non-Technical Skills Attention to detail and process oriented Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively Self-motivated, with a sense of urgency Creative problem solver Ability to multi-task and ensure seamless experience among a variety of stakeholders Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization. Organizational savvy Compensation & Benefits The anticipated hourly rate for this position will be $31.25 to $45.20 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered for this role at commencement of employment may vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, education (including applicable licenses and certifications), job-based knowledge, location, and other business and organizational needs.
