Senior Security Architect

Overview Senior Security Architect secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities Plan and implement security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices. Design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures, as well as hardware and software components; adhere to industry standards across on-premises, disaster recovery (DR), and cloud environments. Enhance security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members. Focus on application security with emphasis on app/security or DevSecOps experience and supporting software development teams. Maintain knowledge of relevant skills and competencies: Network Security, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Protocols, Networking Standards, Supervision, Conceptual Skills, Decision Making, Informing Others, Functional and Technical Skills, Dependability, Information Security Policies. Qualifications Experience in application security, app/security, or DevSecOps with a track record of supporting software development teams. Strong ability to determine security requirements and translate them into secure system designs and processes. Experience with PKI, CAs, digital signatures, and related security architectures. Familiarity with security standards in on-prem, DR, and cloud environments. Ability to collaborate with security teams and provide mentorship and guidance.
