AI Automation Engineer

About The Role We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to develop AI‑powered automation solutions that integrate seamlessly with enterprise workflows. You will bridge the gap between AI capabilities and real‑world business processes. This role requires expertise in automation technologies, API development, and enterprise integration patterns to deliver scalable AI solutions that transform how businesses operate. Key Responsibilities Design and implement end‑to‑end automation pipelines that integrate AI models with existing enterprise systems Develop robust API integrations and middleware solutions for seamless data flow between disparate business applications Build scalable automation frameworks using modern technologies like Python, Node.js, Docker, and cloud‑native services Create and maintain comprehensive testing suites for automation workflows, ensuring reliability and performance Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical automation solutions Monitor and optimize automation performance, implementing improvements for efficiency and cost reduction Document automation processes and provide technical guidance to junior developers and business stakeholders Stay current with emerging automation technologies and evaluate their potential for business impact Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime Lead automation project implementations from conception to deployment, managing timelines and deliverables Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field 5+ years of hands‑on experience in automation engineering, process automation, or similar roles Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, and at least one additional language (Java, C#, or Go) Proven experience with API development, RESTful services, and microservices architecture Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies Experience with workflow automation platforms (Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar) Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong database skills with both SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical thinking Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams Experience working in agile development environments Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) platforms like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and their integration into automation workflows Experience with enterprise software systems (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.) Familiarity with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, AWS SQS) Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) Knowledge of security best practices in automation and API development Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Background in business process analysis and optimization Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or automation technologies Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior developers Previous experience in a startup or fast‑growing technology company What We Offer Competitive salary with equity participation Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Flexible work arrangements and remote options Professional development and conference attendance Work on cutting‑edge automation technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
