CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Department: CT / Xray Tech *Certifications Required: ARRT (CT)(R), BLS, WI License* **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by #/hour.** - How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 1 CT Scanner & 1 Xray Scanner. - Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Yes. One gen rad tech will help cover Mon-Fri day shifts. PM and night shift will work solo. - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Hospital ER and outpatient CT. ER x-ray only. No surgery. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Proficient CT and gen rad skills. Enjoys working independently. Excellent patient care skills. - What EMR &/or PACS: EMR = Cerner; PACS = Spectra. - Department Specific Equipment: Siemens. - Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech?: Dan Spines. - Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No. - Radiologist in-house 24/7?: No. Studies read remotely. - Do they have to start IV's?: IV start required. - Shifts & Scheduling: Set schedules.
