Job Summary:
The location is in Reno, Nevada. This vacancy is for an Ultrasonographer General position within an inpatient setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures across various modalities, including general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound, adhering to industry, federal, state, and organizational standards.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Saturday through Monday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in CPR upon hire; American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) credential with Registration in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS); licenses or certification requirements; minimum of two years of clinical experience in the respective departmental required.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to different departments based on organizational needs, with the possibility of being asked to pick up an additional shift during the schedule period. The schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts. The sonographer will operate advanced ultrasonic imaging units, perform invasive procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies, and assist with departmental accreditation efforts. Responsibilities include mentoring students, maintaining equipment, and ensuring adherence to care standards and protocols. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in ultrasound imaging systems and operate hospital and department computer systems efficiently. No minimum years of experience requirement is specified.
