Machine Operator & Mechanic Lead

Shift Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm Key Responsibilities Ability to set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing equipment and tooling to meet production, quality, and efficiency standards Capability to supply production lines with required materials and components to support manufacturing schedules Experience or ability to monitor equipment performance and production parameters to ensure consistent quality output Ability to identify and communicate operational or quality issues promptly to supervisory personnel Willingness to support and guide team members on basic production processes and quality checks Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures and manufacturing guidelines Willingness to learn product specifications, production processes, machine operations, and quality standards related to the manufacturing environment Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented production setting Additional Responsibilities (as needed) Assist with product packaging and preparation for shipment Support inventory activities and cycle counts Participate in installation or setup of new equipment Assist with receiving and handling raw materials Qualifications 1-3 years of manufacturing machine operation experience, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment High school Diploma or GED required Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and consistency Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment Ability to follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and operational instructions Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to supporting production needs and continuous improvement Flexibility and availability to respond to changing production demands and schedules Ability and willingness to learn product components, materials, specifications, and finished product requirements Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to supporting team and production goals Cleveland Steel Container offers a competitive salary based on commensurate experience and a comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with company contribution, paid holidays and vacations and life insurance.
