Food Service AssociateReports to: FOH Director FLSA status: Hourly (Non-exempt) Hours per week: 25 hours (Part-Time) Campus: MelbourneJob Summary: This position facilitates fellowship for the body of Christ through quality food and beverage production.Calvary Chapel must be your home church with regular attendance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Greet and serve customers with meal orders, questions, or concernsOperate point of sale (POS) for customer cash and credit card transactionsBalance cash drawers at end of dayParticipate in daily set-up and clean-up of kitchen and/or service areasMaintain clean, safe dining spacesStock department suppliesComplete training class in operations of espresso machine and how to make specialty drinksOther duties as assigned by SupervisorJob Skills and Competencies:Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills, and able to stay calm in stressful situationsMust be able to lift 25 poundsFunction within the established department parameters for non-work-related activities when on the clockDependable team-player who promotes unity and works well with people at all levels of the organizationOther Qualifications:Calvary Chapel Melbourne must be your home church with regular attendanceKeep the ministry in the forefront of all you do, with a servant heart and optimistic attitude (Philippians 2:3)Conduct yourself in a manner that reinforces the core values and mission of Calvary Chapel and agree to our Statement of FaithFunction as a productive part of the church staff and attend staff meetings in coordination with direct supervisor (1 Peter 4:10)Demonstrate a mature, ongoing personal relationship with Jesus through spiritual and moral integrityStrong commitment to the vision and mission of Calvary Chapel MelbourneFruit of the Spirit is consistently displayed in your life, as a reflection of God's love to colleagues and visitors (Galatians 5:22-23)Compensation: $15.00 per hour
