Rn Charge Nurse 2sw

Unit Information:

The charge nurse is accountable for excellence in the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care. He/she directs and oversees function and activities of the assigned unit. He/she recommends, develops and implements policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff and the public. He/she assumes the duties of the director in his/her absence. The charge nurse reports directly to the 2 southwest unit manager.

Shift Information:

7am to 7pm

Pay Range $29.75 - $46.49 per hour

Nights ($6 shift differential)

Up to $5,000 relocation

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

RN graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Prefer BSN.

Licensure/certification:

Must have a valid, current license by the Missouri state board of nursing.

Current basic life support (bls) certification/cardiopulmonary resuscitation (cpr) required.

Acls.

Pals required.

Tncc or tns.

Work Experience:

Successful completion of hospital orientation.

Minimum one-year experience as a staff nurse preferred.
